If you need an afternoon nap, simply listen to Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti on 98.5 The Sports Hub in the afternoon.
When 98.5 announced their lineup which includes Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti in the afternoon, Toucher and Rich in the morning and Gary Tanguay and Scott Zolak in the afternoon, I must admit I was excited.
Boston was going to have a new sports talk station to compete with the blow hards at WEEI.
Well, after listen to 98.5 The Sports Hub for one day, I am disappointed. They promised to be the antithesis of WEEI and they are…which is a bad thing. I never thought I would WANT to listen to a bunch of morons talking over each other, but now I realize that it is at least entertaining.
I only hope that 98.5 The Sports Hub can lure talent like Sean Mcdonough, Bob Lobel and maybe even Eddie Andleman. Lord knows he has a HUGE turnout at his hot dog safari every year. If he can get half of that crowd to listen to 98.5 The Sports Hub, then maybe that station will have chance.
