In what has become a Red Sox post season tradition, Tim Wakefield has been left off the ALDS roster. This year, it doesn’t come as a surprise though. He has a bad back and has been mediocre at best since coming off the disabled list.
Remember earlier in the season when he had 11 wins before the All Star break and his name was being thrown around as a Cy Young contender? Who woulda thunk that he wouldn’t win another game all season.
