This game was as meaningful as a scrimmage.
This game had no playoff implications and no divisional implications.
The Patriots will win the AFC East.
And barring a major shakup in the standings, the Patriots will play Denver in the first round, Cincinnati in the second round (assuming the Pats beat Denver) and the Colts in the AFC Championship game (assuming the Pats beat Cincinnati).
Anytime I see a loss like this I think back to the last game of the 2007 season when the Patriots beat a hapless team known as the NY Giants.
We all remember how the Giants faired in the Super Bowl.
So keep your head up fellow massholes. And let New Orleans bask in the glory of winning a meaningless regular season game.
