Krejci Scores Game Winning Goal For Czech Republic. Why Cant We Get Players Like That
David Krejci scored the game winning goal yesterday for Czech Republic.
That leads me to the obvious question: why cant we get players like that? Krejci hasn’t done squat for the Bruins this season.
Last year he teased us with an amazing year, scoring 22 goals, 73 points and a + 37 plus/minus.
But he’s been invisible this season with 31 points in 57 games and a –1 plus/minus.
And if you’ve watched any of the Czech Republic games, you know that Krejci is playing amazing right now.
Hmmm...I guess pride in your country is a little more than the pride he feels playing for the Bruins.
If Im the Bruins front office, Im pissed right now.
They signed him to a three year extension this past offseason and gave him big bucks ($11.25 million to be exact) and hes been mailing it in for most of the season.
If he comes back from the Olympics and is still a bust for the Bruins Im going to officially start a Krejci sucks campaign on this blog.
Stay tuned…..
