Meet Josh Beckett's fiance, Holly Fisher.
Here are Holly Fishers stats:-graduated in 1999 from Spring High School in Spring, Texas (same year as Josh Beckett).
- graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in aeronautical engineering in 2004.
- got a job right out of college at Boeing, which is a global aerospace and defense aircraft manufacturer.
- got her Masters of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from University of Southern California while working at Boeing.
-currently working as a space engineering consultant
According to the the Boston Herald Inside Track, Red Sox ace Josh Beckett proposed to Fisher sometime around Valentines Day while the two attended the Daytona 500.
No word on how big her engagement ring is. But considering the Red Sox recently signed Josh Becket to a four-year, $68-million contract, we can safely assume it was a pretty big diamond.
One question remains, will marriage have the same effect on Beckett as it did on Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady?Back when Tom Brady was single, and football was his life, he was winning championships. Since getting married and having kids, he hasnt won a championship.
He also doesnt show up to voluntary workouts (until he is told to by the owner) and he doesnt get to the practice facility first, as he once did.
Will Josh Becketts nuptials cause him to lose some of his fire? Can we expect the Red Sox ace to soften up and simply mail it in from now on?
I guess only time will tell.
