The Boston Globe is trying to force Dan Shaughnessy to tweet but he's acting like a kid who is being forced to eat their vegetables. Kids say things like "whats the point" or "thats what old people eat, Im a kid!"
Shaughnessy is saying things like:
"Daddy Globe is threatening to make me tweet - at gunpoint. Why?" and "what’s up with this Twitter madness?"
Shaughnessy goes on to say that he hopes "the whole thing is a fad." Im starting to wonder if Shaughnessy even knows that the internet is.
I just lost alot of respect for Dan Shaughnessy. The dude is basically a brand in New England. And the fact that he isnt just slow to adapt with the times but unwilling to adapt is sad....pathetic really.
And so Dan Shaughnessy is going the way of Blockbuster Video and pay phones. Well, I guess the sports world doesnt need Dan Shaughnessy anymore anyway. We have this thing called twitter. And its friggin awesome. But he wouldnt know that.
