Blackhawks' John Scott Says He’ll "Kick the Shit" Out of Shawn Thornton Over "Chirping" Comments

When Shawn Thornton was skating towards the locker room after getting a skate blade to the forehead, he says that some of the Blackhawks were “chirping” at him.

Thornton went on to say after the game, “If I ever find who it was, I'll deal with it my own way.”

Well, Blackhawks goon John Scott has responded.

Scott said :

He’s Mr. Tough Guy and he’s trying to challenge Pisani. If I’m in the lineup, he’s more than welcome to come chirp at me. I’ll kick the shit out of him.”

HAHA. This tool is setting himself up for an ass whipping of the ages. If there really are hockey gods, the Bruins will play the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals this year and we’ll get to see Shawn Thornton smack this bitch around.

Lets cross our fingers.

The Only Highlight From Last Nights Bruins Maple Leafs Game

Even though the Bruins lost to the friggin Maple Leafs in a shoot out, there was one highlight. Milan Lucic fought Jay Rosehill.

The fight was a draw but you gotta give Lucic credit for standing toe to toe with a goon like Jay Rosehill. He even sparred for a bit.

(VIDEO) Shawn Thornton Gets Bloody, Then Gets Chirped At By Blackhawks Bench

Heres the infamous video of Shawn Thornton getting a skate to the forehead. Thornton is claiming that someone from the Blackhawks bench “chirped” at him as he was heading towards the dressing room which caused him to lose his shit (as you can see in the video).

Joe Haggerty tweeted that someone on the Blackhawks bench said (in reference to the blood on his face) “enough to piss him off.”

Thornton said after the game, “If I ever find who it was, I'll deal with it my own way.”

(VIDEO) Soccer Fans In Colombia Bring Coffin, With Dead Body Inside, To Soccer Match

The dead body in the coffin was that of Christopher Jacome, a 17 year old Colombian gunned down while playing soccer.

He was a huge fan of the Cucuta Deportivo Colombian soccer team so after his wake friends took the coffin from the funeral home and paraded it around and then into the stadium.

I don’t even know what to say. I am speechless.

Blackhawks (AKA The BEST TEAM On NHL 94) Coming To The Garden Tonight

Is there really a debate as to who was the best team on EA Sports' NHL 94?

The Chicago Blackhawks had an overall rating of 78 and a roster that included Jeremy Roenick, Chris Chelios and Ed Belfour. And I don think its too far fetched to say that Jeremy Roenick was the most dynamic player in the history of sports video games.

A lot of people were in love with the Detroit Red Wings in NHL 94 because of Steve Yzerman, Sergei Fedorov and Paul Coffey.

But their overall rating was only 75. Plus, their goaltending sucked and fighting was removed from NHL 94 so Bob Probert was basically a waste of a roster spot.

Anyway, so Bruins vs. Blackhawks tonight at the Garden. Should be a good one. Lets just hope no one cracks their head open and has to be removed for a period.

Watch Tara Reid play every role in this trailer for The Big Lebowski 2. The plot is basically the same as The Big Lebowski, except The Dudes couch gets stolen instead of his rug. Hmm....something tells me this isnt the official trailer.

A Video Response To Celtics' Loss To The Pacers

The Celtics loss to the Pacers 107 – 100 last night and Ive decided not to write about the loss. Instead, I present to you this video response.

Enjoy.

Ahhhhh...baseball season is right around the corner.

Red Sox Spring Training Ratings Up 108% From Last Year. Thank You, Adrian Gonzalez And Carl Crawford

According to NESN.com, Red Sox spring training tv ratings are up 108% from last year.

Remember, when the Red Sox signed Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez people were saying that it wasn’t because they needed a first baseman and an outfielder but rather because NESN’s ratings last season were abysmal…and the owners knew that signing big named free agents would translate into more tv viewers.

Well, I guess those blow hard were right.

Bruins Make Flyers Look Like A Bunch Of Little Bitches, And Officially Clinch Playoff Birth

It was poet justice that the Bruins clinched a playoffs spot by beating the team that bounced them from the playoffs last year. And in clinching the playoff spot, the Bruins made the Flyers look like a bunch of little bitches.

This Guy Is A 20 Goal Scorer

Brad Marchand scored his 20th goal of the season yesterday against the Flyers.

Brad Marchand just doesn’t look like a hockey player. He looks more like the kinda guy you see in the balcony waiting in line for a beer.

Seriously, Marchand could probably ride the green line home after a game and would blend in with all those Bruins fans that wear jerseys to the game.

But the dude can play hockey. Who woulda thunk that he would have more goals this year than Tyler Seguin.

Rivalry Brewing Between Red Sox And Orioles?

Last week, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said “I’d like to see how smart Theo Epstein is with the Tampa Bay payroll. You got Carl Crawford ’cause you paid more than anyone else, and that’s what makes you smarter? That’s why I like whipping their butt. It’s great, knowing those guys with the $205 million payroll are saying, ‘How the hell are they beating us?’”

Yesterday, Terry Francona shot back saying, “That's my boss. I was actually kind of aggravated a little bit. It's not the end of the world but I thought he shouldn't have done it. I just thought that was a little bit out of line.”

My question: can the Orioles and Red Sox really be rivals? This sounds more like a pissing match more than anything else. Showalter is probably a little pissy because his owner has signed some really bad contracts over the years (see Miguel Tejada, Albert Belle, et al).

(VIDEO) Is The 2011 Red Sox Anthem “This Is Boston” The Worst Red Sox Song You've Ever Heard?

Im not sure if this is a fan video or an official NESN production but this video titled “This Is Boston” (claiming to be the 2011 Red Sox Anthem) is making its rounds on the internet and it is TERRIBLE.

If this is a fan video, it is probably the worst fan video Ive ever seen—and I don’t mean bad as in Lonely Island bad, I mean bad.

The sad this is, it kinda looks like an official video made by either the Red Sox or NESN.

Im going to guess that the big wigs at NESN or the Red Sox marketing team decided to make an official video that kinda sounds like a fan video and that may go viral.

Well, they failed miserably.

Now as a blogger, I have to post this video. But be warned, it is bad and will probably make you feel uncomfortable

More Humbling News For Red Sox Fans: You’re Ranked Behind Phillies And Yankees Fans In "Sports Loyalty Index"

Red Sox fans like to think they are the most loyal in all of sports. Well, we all know there is a difference between the way people perceive themselves and the way the world perceives them.

That humble reality came to fruition today as Red Sox fans were ranked as the third most loyal fans in major league baseball behind Phillies and Yankees fans.

According to Bloomberg.com:

"The Yankees led the major leagues with attendance of 3.8 million in 2010, followed by the Phillies at 3.6 million. The Phillies sold a higher percentage (104 percent, including standing room) of their 43,651 seats at Citizens Bank Park, compared with 89 percent at 50,287-seat Yankee Stadium."

I know what you’re thinking: but Fenway Park sells out every night! Well, yea, but it is also the smallest ballpark in the majors. The Red Sox owners are great at mind fucking people and they have found a way to make people think that the Red Sox are the most popular team in major league baseball and that their fans are the best in baseball.
