Curt Shilling's 38 Studios Lays Off Entire Staff After Pissing Through $75M Of Government Money. You Cant Make This Shit Up.

Curt Schilling has laid off every one of his employees at 38 Studios.

What a friggin crook. The dude accepted a $75 million loan from the state of Rhode Island and ran his company to the ground.  Lord only knows how much he was paying his execs.  And if I find out they got some sort of golden parachute on the way out the door, my head will friggin explode.

This wouldnt be a story if he had funded the company with his own money.  The dude made $114,158,000 in his career, according to Baseball Reference.  Yet he took money from the government to start a company that produced one video game.  What a friggin shame.
