When I sent that tweet, I didnt think Buster Olney would actually read it, never mind respond. But he did...and he came across as a man who is backed into a corner and squeamishly trying to get out.
David Ortiz basically bitch slapped the dude and he responds by saying that David Ortiz was asked the wrong question? Im just a petty blogger without a press pass, so I dont know what the question was, but it doesnt even sound as if Ortiz was asked a question.
Here's a summary of Ortiz's rant, courtesy of ESPNBoston:
"If he wants to make a comment like that, why don't you ask me a question first. I run this fucking clubhouse right here. This clubhouse has no problem."
If (Olney) means toxic clubhouse because of the players, I don't know about that. I'm the guy who is in control of that shit, so he's wrong when it comes down to that."

Doesnt matter what the question was. David Ortiz gave Buster Olney a pretty stiff back hand to the side of the face and rather than take it like a man, Olney actually had the balls to try and discredit Ortiz's statement.
I like Buster Olney, I really do. But the dude has to grow a sack and admit he was wrong. This is friggin embarrassing.
