Patrice Bergeron can finally add "Selke winner" to his resume. The dude won the elusive Selke Trophy last night at the NHL Awards Show in Las Vegas. If you dont know, the Selke Trophy is given to "the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game."
Bergeron should have about two or three but Im not going to bitch and moan. Kudos to Bergeron. The dude deserved it. Last season, he led the NHL in plus minus (with a plus 36) and in face offs won (with 973).
