I dont care that the Marlins are just another mediocre team. I dont give a shit. I dont want to be one of those miserable pricks who is always talking about the negative, so let me accent the positive here.
Cody Ross played his first game since May 18th and homered, David Ortiz is continuing to beat the shit out of the baseball, going 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 rbi, and the Red Sox have won three in a row.
Sure, the Red Sox are still in last place but Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford were at Fenway Park on Tuesday and took batting practice. So there seems to be help on the horizon. If the Red Sox can continue to tread water until they get back, they have a chance in the East. Mark my words.
