The Yankees claimed Darnell McDonald off waiver from the Red Sox on July 4th, made him cut his iconic dreads, then released him on July 17th to open a roster spot for CC Sabathia. That is a dick move. And it gives Red Sox fans just another reason to hate the New York Yankees.
McDonald always handled himself with class when he was with the Red Sox and never bitched and moaned about being shipped between Pawtucket and Boston. He doesnt deserve to be treated like a piece of garbage. The Yankees really do suck.
