Three hits. The Red Sox got three hits against the A's on Wednesday. Three friggin hits. Sure, one of them was David Ortiz's 400th home run but big shit. The Red Sox just got swept by the Oakland friggin A's. Jesus H Christ, things are bad right now.
The Red Sox won two games against the pathetic Mariners and zero against the pathetic A's and ended up going 2-5 on the road trip. Things absolutely suck right not.
This offense has a severe case of limp dick and is showing no signs of warming up. And if you are one of those people who think that Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford are going to come off the DL and be the saviors for this team, go smoke some more crack.
It doesnt get much easier than the Mariners and A's yet the Red Sox ended up going 2-5 against them. With a four game series against the Yankees this weekend, there is a strong possibility that the Red Sox season may be over before the All Star break. And thats not me talking out of my ass. If the Yankees sweep, there is no point in even trying anymore. They should clean house and give up on the season....as if they havent already.
