So Jon Lester is reportedly unhappy" in Boston. Christ, who is happy on the Boston Red Sox right now? The first half of the season absolutely sucked, the media has been shitting all over them for months and the fans are so frustrated they've stopped showing up to Fenway Park (dont believe the bullshit claim by the Red Sox that the "sellout streak" is still alive). He's not supposed to be happy.
But I guess when you're a spoiled brat you expect every season to be rainbows and unicorns--or should I say fried chicken and beer? If Terry Francona were still managing this team, he would pull Lester aside and tell him to stop pouting like a little bitch and play baseball. But if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle. So whatever.
The bottom lins is that this team has no leadership. The players dont listen to Bobby Valentine's criticism (see Kevin Youkilis) and the team is made up of a bunch of unmotivated, overpaid, unlikeable losers who dont give a shit about winning.
The only way things are going to change is if they blow it up, trade everyone and play the young guys. But Red Sox ownership doesnt have the balls to do it. So we're stuck with disgruntled players and a wasted season. Enjoy folk.
