Cody Ross had himself a game last night. Two three-run home runs for six rbi? Are you friggin kidding me? I didnt have a pants tent last night, I had a pants skyscraper. I friggin love blow outs and by the end of the 4th inning the Red Sox were up 8-1 and I was a giddy bastid.
I would be an asshole if I didnt at least mention Adrian Gonzalez. The dude went 3 for 4 with a home run and drove in four. I think its safe to say his slump is over. We are starting to see the real Adrian Gonzalez.
What blows my mind is that Jon Lester absolutely sucked on Tuesday night, getting hammered for six runs in four innings, yet on Monday night against essentially the same lineup Aaron Cook allows zero earned runs over seven innings and on Wednesday night, Felix Doubront allows only one run over six innings. But I digress.
Im not going to dwell on the negative. The Red Sox are now 4 and 2 since the All Star break and are showing signs that they are not going to fade away. Lets keep it rolling, boys.
