Some dude named Pete Prisco has boldly predicted that the Patriots will go 16-0 this season. This guy isnt just some idiot homer with a hard on for Tom Brady. He is a "Senior NFL Columnist" for CBSSports.com, so this means something. Someone in the national media has picked the Patriots to go 16-0. Holy shit.
I know there was alot of buzz surrounding the 2007 team before the season began considering the Patriots had signed Randy Moss and Adalius Thomas in the off season, and there were whispers about a 16-0 season, but I dont remember one "expert" actually having the balls to pick them to go 16-0.
I wonder how the rest of the dominos will fall. I wonder if anyone else has the testicular fortitude to make the same prediction. The Patriots do have the easiest schedule based on opponents records last season so there is a legitimate reason to pick them to go undefeated. But does anyone other than Pete Prisco, Fred Smerlas and Pete Sheppard have the sack? Stay tuned.
