On the bright side, it's the All Star break and the Red Sox are only 2.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. As sucky as they've been, they're still in this thing. That is friggin insane.
Im not naive enough to think that Jacoby Ellsbury is going to come back and be the savior, but if the Red Sox can stay healthy in the second half, they will be better than they were in the first half and will have a legitimate shot at this thing.
So despite the atrocious starting pitching, the sucky bullpen and the fact that they dont have a closer we may see a pennant race come September. Pissa.
