Derek Lowe Has Been Designated For Assignment By The Indians...Yet Josh Beckett Still Has A Job. Further Proving Ben Cherington Has No Balls.

Derek Lowe was designated for assignment by the Indians on Wednesday.  He was 8-10 with a 5.52 era this season.

Josh Beckett is 5-9 with a 4.54 era and still has a job. If Ben Cherington had half the scrotum of Indians General Manager Chris Antonetti, he would have stood up to Larry Lucchino and made a move on Josh Beckett.

But the dude is nothing more than a "yes man" with the testicular fortitude of a neutered French poodle.  I really dont understand why he is getting a free pass in this town.  Larry Lucchino has his hand firmly up Cheringtons ass yet the media doesnt seem to care.  Its friggin mind boggling.
