What a shitty, shitty night. Not only did the Red Sox blow a 6 run lead in the fourth, Alfredo Aceves gave up the lead in the 9th and the 10th....and the shit show just keeps rolling on.
In the end, Alfredo Aceves gave up a total of 5 earned runs in 1.0 innings of work. He got the loss (his 8th of the season) and the blown save (his 7th of the season). Alfredo Aceves is a perfect example of why MLB should not test for steroids. Look at this shit we he have to put up with. This friggin sucks.
Andrew Bailey made his Fenway debut and killed it, giving up 3 hits and a run. Nice to see him joining the shit show. The Red Sox have yet to win a game on this homestand.
I gave up on this season a long time ago, but now I think Im really going to embrace it. I mean, this collection of douchebags might not win another game this season. Im just going to sit back and enjoy watching the Red Sox lose. Thats what its come to. Lets just enjoy the misery, people. This season is a friggin joke anyway.
