This season has officially turned into a shit show. They cant even beat the sad sacks in this league like the Minnesota Twins.
Alfredo Aceves blew the lead in the 8th and blew the friggin game in the 9th. Un friggin real. Todays headline should be "Pedro Ciriaco Is Wicked Pissa," but nope. Their man, Alfredo Aceves absolutely, utterly shit the bed.
And I feel bad for Aceves, I really do. He should not be the closer on this team. When Andrew Bailey went down, Daniel Bard should have been made the closer and Aceves should have stayed in the bullpen as a middle reliever.
Everyone and their mother was calling for Bard to be the closer.
But nope. The front office has their heads so far up their asses that they dont make the obvious decisions. And now Bard is buried somewhere in the minors we have to watch a shit show every night.
Football and hockey season cant get here fast enough. Im so friggin tired. I really am.
