Aaron Cook was pissa, only allowing one earned run in seven innings but whats baffling is that the offense came to life. Carl Crawford had a double, Jacoby Ellsbury had two doubles, and Dustin Pedroia had three doubles. I mean, Im just baffled.
I dont mean to be a Debbie Downer, but Jon "Automatic Loss" Lester is pitching on Tuesday. Lets just cross our fingers and hope this offense can keep its erection for two nights in a row. I would love nothing more than to see them sweep the Rangers after the debacle that was the Twins series. Stay tuned.
