It was 5-1 at one point. The Red Sox were up. They had this game. Then the shit hit the fan. Lack of clutch hitting did them in. The friggin bases were loaded in the 8th inning. This team has no heart, no will to win and no balls.
This loss isnt on Bobby Valentine but he, no doubt, will take the fall for this season. He is a dead man walking. The dude knows he's gone too and will most likely go down guns blazing. Wait and see.
You think the Will Middlebrooks bullshit was blown out of proportion? There is going to be more drama surrounding this team during the next two months than you've seen in 14 seasons of Big Brother combined.
I think its safe to say the Bobby Valentine experiment didnt work, the Daniel Bard experiment didnt work and Ben Cherington is a gutless "yes man." Terry Francona, Theo Epstein and Jonathan Papelbon leaving set this organization back about 10 years.
Lets just hope the front office has the balls to blown the whole damn thing up this offseason. Id rather watch a bunch of young guys develop and fail than watch a bunch of overpaid, lazy, pathetic, bickering spoiled brats fail. At least the young guys would be easy to root for.
