Cardinals' Patrick Peterson Says Gostkowski Missed Field Goal Because He Was "Scared." Give Me A Friggin Break.
Patrick Peterson has balls, huh?
After the game, Peterson talked about Stephen Gostkowski's missed field goal and had the balls to say, "I think he was a little scared of us, honestly. That is why he pushed it left. We put a lot of pressure on a lot of field goal teams.”
Um...Gostkowski kicked four successful field goals before missing the 42 yarder. And two of them were for more than 50 yards. This dude doesnt know what the hell he is talking about.
His team won what was probably the luckiest game in the history of the NFL (on a shitty call by a replacement ref then a missed field goal combined with a rare half assed effort by the Patriots) and he has the balls to try and take credit? The fact that the Cardinals are 2-0 is probably one of the flukiest stats in the NFL this year.
But we'll let this dude think he is the man for a day. Sure, Stephen Gostkowski misses field goals because he is scared. Ok.
