What am I supposed to say right now. In the final 2 minutes of that game, we watched friggin Joe Flacco march down the field as if he were playing a Pop Warner team.
Devin McCourty should not have a job right now. Kyle Arrington should not have a job right now. That was a friggin embarrassment. This defense absolutely sucks. They absolutely, unequivocally suck. 503 total yards allowed and they made Joe Flacco look like a real quarterback. How was that anything but an utter and complete shit show?
I know you're all waiting for me to bitch about the officials so here it goes: they suck too. But they were terrible on both sides. They shat on the Patriots just as much as they shat on the Ravens.
It was like an NBA game for Christs sake. And if Roger Goodell doesnt get his head out of his ass and put the real refs back on the field, this league is going to go to shit just like the NBA.
I dont blame Bill Belichick for trying to attack one of the scabs after the game. Hell, he and John Harbaugh should have tag teamed the bastards. Im being totally serious, if this shitty officiating continues its just a matter of time before one of them gets psychically assaulted by either a player, fan or coach.
But the scabs arent the reason the Patriots lost this game. The defense shit the bed. Plain and simple. The fact that Joe Flacco marched down the field the way he did to end the game was humiliating. They never should have been in a situation where the game was in the hands of the ref (yes, Im talking about the missed field goal that they said was good).
Anyway, the Patriots are now 1-2. After the shit show that was the Red Sox 2012 season, this is the last thing we need right now. Someone has to put a safety net under the Tobin Bridge. Jesus H Christ, this is going to be a long season.
