The Sox slugger finally put a ring on it six years, one World Series and an $8 million contract after the two first met at Oregon State."So Jacoby Ellsbury is finally engaged. Im sure he's thrilled. Im sure she's thrilled. Their families are probably thrilled. But I bet there are millions of female Red Sox fans absolutely pissed right now.
I may be wrong, but I believe that leaves John Lackey as the only player on the Red Sox roster without a wife or a girlfriend. Get out those "Future Mrs. Lackey" shirts out, ladies. I hear he's a real catch....if you like guys who love beer more than baseball and talk like Kermit the Frog.
Anyway, congratulations to Jacoby and Kelsey. A certain segment of Red Sox Nation may be pissed right now, but Im happy for them. I really am.
