All Of A Sudden, The National Media Has A Hard On For The Patriots Again. This Is Friggin Hilarious.

ESPN Week 5 NFL Power Rankings:

NBC Sports / ProFootballTalk Week 5 NFL Power Rankings:

Believe me, Im not complaining. It just cracks me up that the Patriots had to beat the shit out of the Bills and Broncos in consecutive weeks in order for these guys to open their eyes.

Ive been saying since training camp that I thought this was a damn good team.  I didnt think Stevan Ridley would be doing what he's doing but I did have a pants tent for Josh McDaniels the day he was signed and thought he would bring this offense to a whole nother level...and he has.

Sure, the Patriots have lost to the Cardinals and Ravens but each of those losses was flukey.  In the Cardinals game Aaron Hernandez went down on, what, the first offensive play of the game?  After that, the game plan was thrown off and the game went to shit.  Then they lost to the Ravens because the fake refs thought that was actually a field goal.

I watch the games.  Im convinced the guys who write these power rankings dont even watch the friggin games.  They most likely read the stats and watch the highlights on ESPN.  Seems like a lazy way to make an "expert analysis."

Anyway, so the stats and highlights finally prove that the Patriots are legitimate Super Bowl contenders and the national pundits have come back around.  Welcome back to the bandwagon fellas.  I cant say we missed you.
