Call Me A Homer, But The Seahawks Just Dont Scare Me And This 12th Man Talk Is Bullshit.
The Patriots lead the NFL in points per game (33) and yards per game (439.4). Theyve scored 83 points in their last two games. They're 4 point favorites in this game against the Seahawks (IN Seattle) and all Ive been hearing about is how loud the Seahawks fans are.
This is friggin hilarious. So the fan noise is going to be the difference in the game,? Give me a friggin break. Sure the Seahawks are good at stopping the run and the fan noise may make it difficult for the Patriots to have the kind of hurry up offense we saw last week, but this game just doesnt scare me.
In their last two games, the Seahawks have scored a total of 29 points. They beat the Carolina Panthers last week, 16-12 and lost to the St Louis Rams the week before, 19-13. Yet for some reason, people are actually referring to this team as a "contender" in the NFC West.
Cmon. When the fan noise in your stadium dominates the conversation the entire week leading up to the game, you know you suck.
People will point to the fact that the Seahawks havent allowed more than 20 points in a game all season. Lets be serious, they've played the Cardinals, Cowboys, Packers, Rams and Panthers. Today they will be introduced to the world of Tom Brady, Wes Welker, and Stevan Ridley.
I hope the Seahawks brought their lube to ease the pain a little bit. I cannot friggin wait.
