Its a damn shame, it really is. The dude is a first ballot hall of famer and one of the NBA's all time greats. Yet because he didnt like Danny Ainge dangling him as trade bait one time, he will also have the word douchebag (or insert any synonym for douchebag, really) attached to his name.
Why couldnt he just bury the hatchet and get over it? Every player in the NBA has to deal with the trade rumors at some point in his career. Yet Ray Allen felt the need to abandon the fans in Boston and run away like a little bitch....because his feeling were hurt.
It is a Goddamn shame. And he deserves all the shit he has gotten since leaving, and will probably get for the rest of his career.
