Not sure how good #10 would be...but I guarantee I wouldnt lose 93 friggin games! But seriously, if the Red Sox hire John Farrell they're bigger idiots than I thought. The Blue Jays sucked this year and Farrell was the manager during the Yunel Escobar gay slur incident. He will just be another Bobby Valentine.
One guy who makes all the sense in the world but isnt even on the list is Arnie Beyeler, the manager of the Pawtucket Red Sox. The dude lead the PawSox to the International League Championship this season. He's been manager of the PawSox for the past two years and before that managed the Portland Sea Dogs for four years.
If the Red Sox really do want to develop the young guys and truly rebuild, they'll go with Beyeler. If they just want to make a splash, they'll hire the loser John Farrell.
But you know how John Henry and Larry Lucchino are. They're shitheads. They like the drama. They will love the publicity that will come with negotiating a trade with the Blue Jays for Farrell. It sucks but its true.
Then the dude will get here and it will be alot of the same shit we saw this season. The inmates will run the asylum. I dont mean to sound like a dickhead, but look at what he did in Toronto. The only reason they didnt finish in last place is because the Red Sox sucked even worse.
If John Farrell is hired as the new manager of the Boston Red Sox, we will see The Shit Show Part 2 next season. Mark my words.
