Red Sox Officially Finish Last In AL East. This Season Sucked.
The Shit Show is finally over. And what an appropriate ending. It just seems so fitting that the 2012 season ended with the Red Sox taking a 14-2 ass pounding and the Yankees clinching the AL East right in front of them.
In the end, the Red Sox finished with a 69-93 record. That's good for last place in the AL East. They finished a whopping 26 games out of first place. They didnt finish so badly in the Wild Card race. They were only 24 games out.
What else can I say? Oh yea, they finished the season on an eight game losing streak. Dice K sucked in the season finale, allowing 5 earned runs in 2.1 innings. He finished the season 1-7. I think its safe to say that shit bag wont be back next season. What a friggin waste of money.
Now we just sit back and wait for Bobby Valentine to get fired and hope Larry Lucchino can rebuild this pitching staff in the off season.
I wonder if he can find someone as stupid as the Dodgers to take on the Lackey and Lester contracts. That would be a nice start. Stay tuned.
