FINAL: Red Sox 1 Twins 6. How The Frig Does The Team With The Best Record In Baseball Lose To The Minnesota Twins?
Well, at least we got to see David Ortiz extend his hitting streak to 27 games (dating back to last season). Other than that, this game sucked.
The Red Sox offense barely showed up, making Twins starter Scott Diamond look like a Cy Young candidate, Will Middlebrooks and David Ross each left the game after colliding while sliding for a foul ball and Ryan Dempster pitched like shit.
On the bright side, the Red Sox still have the best record in baseball. Im not kidding. They still have a better record than every other team in Major League Baseball right now.
