FINAL: Red Sox 17 Rangers 5

I think its safe to say the Texas Rangers just took one up the ass. The Red Sox absolutely unloaded on them, winning 17-5. This is the fifth time this season that the Red Sox have scored at least 10 runs in a game. They now lead Major League Baseball in runs with 306. Actually, they lead the majors coming into this game too.

Every Red Sox player in the starting lineup got a hit with the exception of Mike Napoli. That sucks. But the dude is having a great season so he probably doesnt give a shit. Jackie Bradley Jr. hit the first home run of his career, Daniel Nava and Mike Carp both went 3 for 4 and Stephen Drew went 4 for 5 with two doubles and a home run.

The Red Sox are still in first place in the AL East and now have more wins than any other team in the American League. This team is so easy to root for and so much fun to watch.

Oh yea, and the Bruins are up 2-0 on the Pittsburgh Penguins.  I could get hit by a friggin truck today and still call it a good day.
