Red Sox Shit All Over Tampon Bay Rays, Win Both Games Of Doubleheader

What a friggin day.  The Red Sox won both games of the doubleheader against the Tampon Bay Rays.  That is pissa.

Alfredo Aceves actually pitched pretty well in game 1.  He went five innings and allowed only one run on three hits.  He is now 4-1 on the season and has won three games in a row.  It makes me wonder if maybe this dude has switched medications or something.

He doesnt seem to have the attitude problems that he had last season or in the early part of this season.  The guy is actually pitching like he gives a shit.

Anyway, I hate to harp on the negative, but the Red Sox dont have a closer right now.  Andrew Bailey shat the bed in the top of the ninth inning of game two and thankfully, Jonny Gomes bailed his ass out with a walkoff in the bottom of the ninth.

What pisses me off is that Felix Doubront pitched great for eight innings, allowing three hits and no runs on only 93 pitches, and Andrew Bailey, who shat the bed in the ninth , ended up getting credit for the win.  That is just friggin annoying.

So, the walkoff win was the Red Sox sixth of the season.  And despite not having a closer, the Red Sox are (still) in first place in the AL East and now have the most wins of any team in the American League, with 44.  Oh yea, and the Bruins are two wins away from winning the Stanley Cup.  Life is pissa right now.
