Five days away from Sunday's AFC title game with New England, the Denver Broncos have added a former Patriot. The Broncos announced Tuesday the signing of veteran defensive back Marquice Cole, who was released by Bill Belichick's team in December after playing 165 snaps over 13 games.
The Broncos just lost cornerback Chris Harris and Marquice Cole has to "feed his family." I get all that. But this guy played for the Patriots this season. Do you really think the Broncos front office didnt have it in the back of their minds that they would be able to pick his brain a bit?
Cole was on the Patriots this season when they played the Broncos for Christ's sake. He knows how the Patriots scouted and planned for the Broncos. And now he is on their payroll. Its just sad to think he needs a paycheck so bad that he is willing to destroy the Patriots' season. What a friggin sellout.
