Shit, are the Bruins ever going to lose another game this season? The way they've been playing, they may conceivably run the table. That is not hyperbole. They are clicking on all cylinders right now and it would not shock me at all.
Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith and Jarome Iginla (2) all scored for the Bruins last night. In all, eight different Bruins had a point in this game. This team is so friggin deep.
They now have a 16 point lead on the second place Tampon Bay Lightning in the Northeast Division and a five point lead over the Penguins for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Christ, they are four points behind the St. Louis Blues for the best record in the entire NHL.
What's scary is that there isnt a legitimate powerhouse in the Eastern Conference (and anyone who says the Penguins are the better team needs to be punched in the face). The Bruins have a legitimate shot at the President's Trophy this season and a legitimate shot at making the Stanley Cup Final. Period.
