44 Years Ago Today, This Happened...

Let me paint the picture for all you young massholes. It was game 4 of the 1970 Stanley Cup Finals.  The Bruins were playing the St. Louis Blues and they hadnt won a Stanley Cup in 29 years (since 1941).  The game was tied 3-3 and went to overtime.

Then, a 22 year old defenseman named Bobby Orr, who had scored 120 points in the regular season season and won the Art Ross Trophy, the Norris Trophy, the Hart Trophy and eventually the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, passed it to Derek Sanderson who passed it back to Orr and then this happened:
