NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was a guest on ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike" program on Friday morning from the NFL draft in Chicago, and he was asked about the investigation into New England Patriots underinflated footballs from the AFC Championship Game.Sure, his job was to find out if the rules were broken...which should have taken about three days. The fact that he allowed this to drag on for months and let this become a national conversation, thus giving all those Patriots haters a chance to bash this organization and the greatest quarterback to ever play the game is a fucking joke.
Goodell was then asked if he was prepared to apologize to the Patriots and owner Robert Kraft if the investigation reveals no wrongdoing.
"Well, no, because here’s the thing, and I’ve said this to Robert and I’ve said this publicly -- our job is to protect the integrity of the game," Goodell said on the program. "There are 31 other teams that want to know that the rules were followed. That’s our job, and that’s what we’re going to do. I’m not going to apologize for doing our job."
The Patriots brand was damaged. Tom Brady's reputation was tarnished. And the Kraft family was embarrassed. All because this incompetent prick dragged his feet and didn't do his job.
And now the asshole has the balls to say he won't apologize because he was just doing his job? Oh my God, I can't even take this fuck face anymore. I really can't.
Remember, Robert Kraft publicly asked for an apology. If Goodell doesn't deliver, he better start looking for a new job because he is friggin toast.
