just relax... the Red Sox are not interested in Matsui. they are trying to drive the price up for the Yankees.

when the dust settles this offseason, they will most likely have bay or holliday and another starting pitcher or two: halladay, lackey or harden, as well as possibly adrian gonzalez. plus, they are positioning themselves for a great 2011 bumper crop of free agents, which include: joe mauer.
